The minimum fee amount is 100.00 ALL. Remittance purchases are made in Albanian Lek (ALL), while currency conversion is carried out at the official exchange rate of card organizations. Your bank may apply a currency conversion fee for any foreign currency transactions.

PAYAL is the first Albanian online money transfer portal, allowing users to send money from abroad to Albania. The transfer is processed by debiting the receiver’s payment card. Within minutes, the funds become available in two ways:

  1. Direct deposit to the receiver’s account at Bank.
  2. Cash pickup at any Bank branch.

All transfers are paid out in ALL (Albanian Lek).

The online remittance service allows money transfers exclusively from abroad to Albania. Individuals with Visa, MasterCard, or UnionPay payment cards issued by foreign payment providers can use the Payal portal for online transfers.

For your first transfer, you need to register and add your recipient. When sending money, simply select the recipient, choose the currency, and enter the amount. You can track your transaction status in your user account. The total transfer amount per recipient is limited to EUR 5000 (equivalent in ALL) per month.

After the payment is made, the Bank will notify the receiver by sending an SMS to the mobile phone number provided during registration on the Payal portal. The Bank is required to enable the receiver to withdraw the funds by the end of the business day on which the payment transaction was executed.

If the receiver is a client of the Bank, the funds will be transferred to their current ALL account within a few minutes. Other users can withdraw the credited funds through the Payal portal at any branch of the Bank.

The sender is required to pay a fee for the money transfer service in accordance with the Bank’s applicable Tariff of Fees. The exact fee amount will be displayed to the sender when entering the transfer amount. The Bank will deduct the fee immediately after the sender completes the transfer. The receiver will not be charged any fees.

Remittance transactions are processed in Albanian Lek (ALL). Currency conversion is carried out at the official exchange rate of card organizations. Your bank may apply a currency conversion fee for foreign currency transactions.

Please check if you have entered your email address correctly. If the address is correct, please verify whether the message from the Payal system has been delivered to your spam folder.

If you have not successfully completed the login process three times by entering the correct username and password, your account will be temporarily locked. Please contact us via email at payal@com so we can unblock your account.

The transaction is considered complete when the recipient receives the funds. In the transaction list, the status “Paid to the Account” will appear (if the recipient has an account at Bank) or the status “Paid to the Recipient” (if the recipient does not have an account at Bank and is withdrawing money at one of the Bank branches).

The Bank sends an SMS message with a transfer identification number only to recipients who do not have an account with Postal Savings Bank but receive the payment of funds at branches of Bank. If the recipient does not receive an SMS message with the transfer identification number, the sender or recipient should contact our customer service at: email: payal@account.com or phone: +xxx 00 000 000.

You need to check with the bank that issued your payment card if you are able to purchase remittances on the PAYAL portal.

Yes, you can safely use your previously provided order, which is saved and can be modified with new data using your username and one-time password.

The Payal Portal operates in accordance with international safety standards and holds certificates from international card organizations. As with other card transactions, user and card data protection adheres to the highest payment security standards.
